Best AI receptionists for clinics in Brazil (2026)

This list compares nine AI virtual secretaries for clinics in Brazil, and they split into two kinds. Eight are products the clinic subscribes to and uses inside the vendor’s platform, set up by the clinic itself or by the vendor’s team: Cloudia, Clinia, Clinicorp, Simples Dental, Carecode, Avie, Agiliza Clínica and Syntia. Betterlane builds and runs the WhatsApp assistant for the clinic, on the clinic’s own number and accounts, following its process and its words, and hands anything clinical or unusual to the front desk with a summary.

Where Betterlane is different: it is done for you and run by us, not one more tool for the front desk to learn and look after; it follows the clinic’s process (it asks the procedure and the preferred time, books through the clinic’s booking link or a connected calendar, confirms and reminds as the clinic approves); it runs on the official WhatsApp Business API, on the clinic’s own number and accounts; the clinic keeps the management software it already uses; and the same partner handles WhatsApp, the phone and the office automations. What it does not do: publish a price or a list of native integrations. It books inside the management software only where the clinic’s software gives access; that is checked first, and no integration we have not built is promised.

Betterlane comes first because this is our list, and its limits are stated as plainly as everyone else’s. Every fact about the other companies comes from that company’s own pages, read on 31 Oct 2026, linked in the sources; where a page does not say, the list says “not stated”, which does not mean the product lacks it. Prices change; check the page before you buy.

How it works

  1. Betterlane: built and run for the clinic, first version free

Suits: clinics that want WhatsApp answered in their own way and words, without asking the front desk to set up and look after one more platform. What it does: answers patients at any hour, 24h, from the clinic’s own information; asks the procedure and the preferred time; books through the clinic’s booking link or a connected calendar, where the clinic’s software allows access (we check access first and never promise an integration we have not built); confirms and reminds as the clinic approves; and hands clinical questions and anything unusual to the front desk with a summary of the conversation. Setup: done for you and run by us, on the official WhatsApp Business API, on the clinic’s own number and accounts; the clinic keeps its management software. Price: not published. The first version is free and live on the clinic’s WhatsApp within 10 days; if it does not do what was agreed, the clinic pays nothing. Try first: the free preview builds an assistant from your clinic’s website, with nothing to sign up for. The same partner can also answer the clinic’s phone and automate the office work around the conversations.

  2. Cloudia: a messaging platform with a CRM and 40+ integrations

Suits: clinics that want one inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and the website, with a CRM and reports; its home page says “+1000 clínicas”. Price (its plans page, read 31 Oct 2026): Cloudia Pro [IA] from R$449.90/mo (200 conversations) to R$979.90/mo (1,200); Cloudia Elite from R$1,949.90/mo to R$2,979.90/mo; setup from R$700; AI summary and suggestions R$100/mo more, extra number R$200/mo, extra agent R$30/mo. Setup: Cloudia’s team configures the flows and trains the clinic’s staff to run the platform. Booking: native Google Calendar and integrations with Clinicorp, Feegow, Controle Odonto, Dental Office, ProDoctor and others (“+40 sistemas”); in the plans table, “Agendamento com IA”, automated reminders and satisfaction surveys are on Elite only. WhatsApp: the official API is recommended, with Meta’s message fees paid by the clinic directly to Meta; the FAQ also allows unofficial APIs “por sua conta e risco” (at your own risk). Audio: understands voice notes, replies with audio and reads images. Hands complex cases to the team. Trial: none; on the monthly plan the minimum term is 3 months, with no refund before that.

  3. Clinia: a messaging layer connected to the management software, for larger operations

Suits: high-volume clinics, groups and hospitals. Price (clinia.io/planos, read 31 Oct 2026): Essencial from R$890/mo (2,000 conversations, up to 5 users), Profissional from R$1,990/mo (5,000 conversations, up to 15 users), Enterprise from R$4,900/mo; conversations over the allowance R$250 to R$400 per thousand, extra number R$300/mo, WhatsApp calls R$0.20/min. Contract: its terms of use set a 12-month minimum term and a fee of 40% of the remaining months. Setup: guided by its team, “normally around 45 days”. Booking: its agent, Cora, reads and writes the schedule and patient records in the 19 systems it lists, including Feegow, Clinicorp, Amplimed, Dental Office and ProDoctor; Tasy, MV and NAJA on Enterprise. WhatsApp: official API, in many cases on the current number. Includes a shared inbox with Instagram, Facebook and web chat, a CRM and dashboards. Hands conversations to staff with the history. Audio: not stated. Trial: a “Começar teste grátis” (start free trial) button, with no published conditions.

  4. Clinicorp: AI agents inside the dental management software

Suits: dental and aesthetics clinics on Clinicorp. Price (clinicorp.com/planos, read 31 Oct 2026): the “Combo Agentes Clinicorp IA”, which answers patients, is priced on request (“sob consulta”); the software is R$159.90/mo (Standard) or R$369.90/mo (Premium) at full monthly price; Clinicorp IA, at R$299/mo, is an assistant for the staff, not for patients. What it does: booking, relationship (confirmations, no-shows, open quotes) and lead agents on WhatsApp, booking straight into the Clinicorp schedule. Staff can take over any conversation and hand it back. Contract: no minimum term, onboarding included. WhatsApp (official API or not), audio and data protection: not stated on the pages read. Clinicorp’s plans also list an “Integração com Cloudia”.

  5. Simples Dental: an AI secretary in pre-launch, inside the software

Suits: dental practices on Simples Dental. Price (simplesdental.com, read 31 Oct 2026): the Secretária IA is billed separately, “a partir de R$ 6 por dia” (from R$6 a day), with no monthly price published; the software is R$149.90 (Basic), R$249.90 (Plus) or R$349.90 (Pro) a month before promotions. What it does: understands voice notes and books straight into the Simples Dental online schedule. The page labels it “Pré-lançamento” (pre-launch). Data: it says audio is not stored. WhatsApp (official API or not), hand-off to staff and trial: not stated on the pages read.

  6. Carecode: WhatsApp, phone and Instagram, billed per conversation

Suits: clinics and hospitals; it has its own records and schedule or runs on top of the clinic’s system. Price (carecode.com.br, read 31 Oct 2026): R$1.75 per patient conversation, “reference values, subject to adjustment”, no per-user licence and no minimum term. Channels: WhatsApp, phone (it answers calls) and Instagram, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, by text or voice. Booking: reads and writes in the 15 systems it lists, including Clinicorp, Clínica nas Nuvens, ClinicWeb, Prontuário Verde, Tasy and Feegow (on request). Setup: by Carecode’s team, “on average 11 days”. Hands over to staff with the context. WhatsApp (official API or not): not stated on the pages read. Trial: a demo conversation on WhatsApp.

  7. Avie: a WhatsApp secretary with a website and calendar, at a published fixed price

Suits: medical practices and clinics. Price (avie.me/precos, read 31 Oct 2026): Avie Atende R$1,350/mo for up to 1,000 patients a month, plus a one-time R$2,700 setup, with no per-message charge and no minimum term; the Cuida (records, payments) and Cresce (Google) tiers are quoted on request. Setup: by Avie’s team, with a simulation before the first patient, in “up to 14 days”. Booking: Google Calendar or Feegow. WhatsApp: on the current number; Avie’s own table says it is “conectado como aparelho; o celular continua funcionando” (connected as a device; the phone keeps working). Replies in writing, voice notes included. Calls the team with the reason written down, and its clinical limits are fixed. Includes the clinic’s website. Trial: a test conversation on WhatsApp.

  8. Agiliza Clínica: management software with an AI front desk by text and voice

Suits: clinics willing to switch software, or that have none, and want management and an AI front desk in one place. Price (agilizaclinica.com.br/precos, read 31 Oct 2026): Essencial R$597/mo, Profissional R$1,497/mo and Premium R$3,997/mo at list monthly price, with 20% off on the page that day; features are the same, the conversation and minute allowances change. Channels: WhatsApp by text and voice notes, and voice calls on the phone and WhatsApp. Booking: its own schedule, with records, billing and service invoices (NFS-e); integrations available with Doctoralia, iClinic, Google Calendar and Clinicorp. WhatsApp: “Tech Provider oficial”, on the same number, without leaving the WhatsApp Business app. Urgent or clinical matters go to a person on the team. Contract: no mandatory minimum term. Trial: a live demo.

  9. Syntia: self-serve at one price, with a 7-day trial

Suits: practices and health professionals who want to set it up themselves. Price (syntiamed.com, read 31 Oct 2026): R$247/mo with no patient limit, after 7 free days on your real WhatsApp; cancel any time. Setup: self-serve (“Configure em minutos”, set up in minutes). Booking: Google Calendar; no management software named. WhatsApp: official WhatsApp Business Platform integration. Clinical questions go to the team or the professional. Data: it acts as data processor on the professional’s behalf. Audio: not stated.

What it costs to run

Published prices as each company’s page stated them on 31 Oct 2026, entry plan first. On the official WhatsApp API, Meta bills the messages the clinic sends separately, unless the vendor says they are included. Prices change, so check the linked page. Betterlane publishes no price: the first version is free, and the price to continue is given on the 20-minute call.

When it is not worth it

  • If you want the AI booking inside your management software from day one, in a system it already integrates, the platforms with published integrations do that: Clinia and Cloudia (Elite) across several systems, Carecode in the 15 it lists, and Clinicorp and Simples Dental inside their own software. Betterlane books through the clinic’s link or a connected calendar, only where the software gives access.
  • If you need a ready-made CRM and inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook, Cloudia and Clinia publish that.
  • If you would rather set it up yourself, with a published price and an instant trial, Syntia publishes R$247/mo with 7 free days.
  • If you are switching management software anyway, software with a built-in AI front desk, such as Agiliza Clínica, does both.
  • If the clinic gets few messages and the front desk answers them all the same day, a well-written away message may be enough.

Questions

How do I choose an AI virtual secretary for a clinic?

Check six things. Where it books: in your management software, a Google Calendar or through your booking link, and what it writes back. Whether WhatsApp runs on the official API, on your number, and who pays Meta’s message fees. What it does with clinical questions and emergencies: it should hand them to a person. Who sets it up and who looks after it afterwards: you, the vendor’s team during onboarding, or a partner who runs it. The first-year cost, with setup, allowances and extras. And the contract: Clinia’s terms set a 12-month minimum and Cloudia 3 months on the monthly plan; Syntia, Avie Atende, Carecode, Clinicorp and Agiliza say they have no minimum term.

Which AI virtual secretary suits a dental clinic?

For a dental clinic, the software you already use matters most. On Clinicorp, the Agentes Clinicorp IA book into its own schedule; on Simples Dental, the Secretária IA, in pre-launch, does the same. Cloudia (Clinicorp, Controle Odonto, Dental Office), Clinia (Clinicorp, Dental Office) and Carecode (Clinicorp) publish integrations with systems dentists use. Syntia has a page for dentists and books into Google Calendar. Betterlane builds the assistant with your clinic’s procedures and words and books through your booking link or a connected calendar, where the software gives access.

Can an AI secretary answer clinical questions?

It should not. Avie, Syntia and Agiliza write on their own pages that clinical questions or emergencies go to a person. With Betterlane, clinical questions and anything unusual go to the front desk with a summary of the conversation.

What does Betterlane cost, and what if it does not work?

The first version is free: it is live on the clinic’s WhatsApp within 10 days, and if it does not do what was agreed, the clinic pays nothing. If it does and the clinic wants to continue, the monthly price is given on the 20-minute call, month to month, no lock-in. Before that, the free preview builds an assistant from your clinic’s website for you to try.
