Open the greeting message
In the Tools tab, tap Greeting message and turn on “Send greeting message”.
Paste the text
Tap Greeting message, paste what you copied here and tap OK.
Choose who gets it
Everyone; everyone not in my contacts; everyone except…; or only… Then tap Save.
If it is not sent
It only goes to people writing for the first time or after 14 days without a chat; the phone must be online; and it is switched off while Meta Business Agent is connected.
Questions
Why is my greeting message not working?
The 14-day rule: anyone who has written in that time does not get it again. Also check the recipients, that the phone is online, and whether Meta Business Agent is connected (it switches greetings off).
Are the greeting and the away message the same?
No. The greeting goes with the first message, at any hour; the away message goes when you are closed. You can use both.
Can I use the text however I like?
Yes. Copy it, change it, use it. Nothing you type here is sent or stored.
