Text messages from Betterlane

What the texts are

Betterlane builds assistants that answer a business’s customers. Our texting line sends three kinds of text, and only to a business owner who asked for them:

• The link to the demo we built for your business, when you reply asking for it.
• Our booking link, so you can book a call with us.
• Reminders before a call you booked with us, if you ticked the reminder box when booking.

How you ask

By replying. One of our founders may first text a business by hand, from their own phone, at the number on its public listing, to ask whether the owner would like a demo. Our texting line writes to you only after you reply that you want it (for example “yes, send it”). We record your reply with its date and time.

By ticking the box when you book a call. Our booking page has an optional box, unticked unless you tick it, that reads: “Text me reminders about this call from Betterlane (up to 3 texts: the day before, an hour before and 10 minutes before). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy: betterlaneagency.com/privacy”. Leave it empty and you get no reminders by text.

The first text from our texting line names Betterlane and says how to stop.

How often

Message frequency varies with the conversation you choose to have. Reminders: up to 3 for each call you booked with the box ticked. We send no promotions and no lists.

• Reply STOP at any time: you get one confirmation and no further texts.
• Reply HELP for help, or write to thiago@betterlaneagency.com.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Our privacy policy (betterlaneagency.com/privacy) and terms (betterlaneagency.com/terms) say the rest.
