Betterlane vs SleekFlow: an alternative for clinics in Dubai
SleekFlow is a messaging platform and official WhatsApp provider used across many industries: one inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok and other channels, with AI agents your team builds from your website and documents. The pages we read show no clinic-specific product; your team, or a partner you hire, sets it up, with onboarding help on the higher plans.
Betterlane builds and runs one clinic assistant for you instead, on your own WhatsApp number and website, answering in English from facts you approve and passing anything clinical to the team. SleekFlow’s terms say Meta’s WhatsApp fees are the customer’s, on top of its own.
Test it before you pay
The first flow is built free in ten days, against a scope and tests we agree with you before we start. If it does not pass them, you pay nothing and keep it: it runs free for 30 more days while we fix it or you decide, then it is either paid monthly or switched off with your facts, answers and setup notes handed over.
After you say yes
Day 1 starts when your intake is back and the booking step is checked. If that slips, the date moves and we tell you the same day.
On day 9 we go through the agreed scope with you, line by line, on a 15-minute video call. A line that fails is fixed and checked again.
If it does not do what we agreed by day 10, it keeps running free for 30 days while we fix it or you decide. Then either you pay monthly, only if it now does what was agreed, or it is switched off and we hand over what is yours: the approved facts, the answers, the booking rules and a setup note any builder can follow. Nothing is invoiced for any of it.
Payment starts only if it does what was agreed and you choose to keep it running: monthly from day 11, at an amount you know before day 1. Month to month: if you stop, it is switched off.
The monthly covers hosting and usage; us reading the conversations and fixing wrong answers and bugs; changes to your hours, services and staff within 2 business days; help by email or WhatsApp within 1 business day, the same day if something is broken (business days are Monday to Friday, Dubai time, and planned absences are told to you in advance); and a short note each month. Meta’s WhatsApp fees, if any, are billed on your own Meta account.
Check it yourself
In our own test on 2 Oct 2026, we sent messages we wrote (opening hours, then a listed treatment next week in the morning) to 60 previews built from clinics’ public websites: all 60 answered with no failed or empty reply, the 48 with published hours offered two times inside them and booked the one our script picked on a test calendar, and the other 12 took a request for the team. A vaguer “first consultation” request first got times in 9 of 48; after a rule change, 46 of 48 offered times and booked. These are previews, not clinics’ live systems.
Where the data goes, in short: the assistant and its database run in the region closest to your customers (São Paulo for the Americas; London or Frankfurt for the UK, Europe or the Gulf, set up before day 1); replies are written by OpenAI’s model through Vercel’s AI Gateway with zero data retention, in US data centres, or EU ones for Europe; we do not publish a standard data processing agreement yet. If your customers’ data has to stay in one country, check this before anything else.
Betterlane and SleekFlow side by side
| Betterlane | SleekFlow | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | An agency: we build and run the assistant for the clinic | “An agentic AI platform that transforms conversations into sales”, and an official WhatsApp Business Solution Provider; not a clinic product1 |
| Who sets it up and changes it | Betterlane builds and changes it; the clinic approves the answers and the rules | Your team in the software, with onboarding help (group sessions on Pro, 60 days dedicated on Premium) or a partner you hire; a 7-day trial1 |
| Channels | WhatsApp on the clinic’s own number and a chat on its website; no phone calls | WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok, SMS, WeChat, Telegram, LINE, Viber, email and a website widget1 |
| Languages | English, Portuguese and Spanish; not Arabic today | Its site has an Arabic version; the pages read do not say the AI agent answers patients in Arabic |
| What it answers from | The facts the clinic approves (treatments, prices, hours, insurers accepted), agreed before we build; anything outside them goes to the team with a summary | “Crawl your website, scan internal docs”; “Every AI response shows its source”3 |
| Booking | Into the calendar where the clinic’s software allows it, or by sending the clinic’s booking link; otherwise it records the request for reception | Its AI agent can book appointments, and Premium connects to booking systems “using webhooks and APIs”; no clinic system is named31 |
| Clinical questions | Set up to give no clinical advice: clinical questions go to the team with a summary, and that is part of the tests agreed before it goes live | Depends on how your team sets up its AI agents; its terms say AI output is not “a substitute for professional advice” and must not be used for medical decisions2 |
| Where patient data is processed | Outside the UAE: there is no UAE region we can use, so a Dubai clinic’s assistant and database run on Vercel and Neon in Frankfurt, Germany, the nearest one, and the model that writes the replies is reached through Vercel’s AI Gateway with zero data retention and processing in EU data centres. If patient data must stay in the UAE, Betterlane is not the right choice today | SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 42001, and its privacy notice lists the UAE’s PDPL; where data is hosted is not stated on the pages read4 |
| How it is priced | The first flow is built free in ten days, against a scope and tests agreed before we start; if it does not do what was scoped, the clinic pays nothing and keeps it. Running it after that is agreed before we start. | Plans by monthly active contacts, shown in local currency on its pricing page; Meta’s fees are on top, paid by the customer (its terms)12 |
When each one is the better choice
- SleekFlow when you have staff to build and run your own inbox and AI agents across many channels, and you want an official WhatsApp provider with SOC 2 and ISO certifications.
- Betterlane when nobody at the clinic has time to build bots, and you want one assistant built and kept up for you, answering in English from the facts you approve, tested through the free first flow.
What SleekFlow and Meta state
SleekFlow shows its prices in the visitor’s local currency, so we do not quote a UAE figure we did not see on its page (7 October 2026); its terms say Meta’s fees and VAT are not included. Betterlane publishes no price: the first flow is built free, and running it afterwards is agreed before we start.

What we measured ourselves (not client work)
Our own measurement, without any customer: 945 replies that our previews for estate agencies and clinics gave to our own test messages, 4–6 October 2026, billed by Vercel’s AI Gateway.
- The model that writes the replies cost about US$0.36 per 1,000 replies. Each reply read about 5,200 tokens, mostly the business’s own facts, and wrote about 110. This is the model only, not Meta’s fees or our service.
